If we have learned anything over the past three years, it is to be prepared for changes! 

Sadly, I won't be speaking at MEGAComm this year, but look forward to being there again in the future. And there are still many upcoming conferences and events to look forward to. 

The recent wave of tech layoffs internationally remind us all that our profession is dynamic and sometimes volatile. Do you have a plan to make yourself recession-proof?  

It has been a long dry spell for my live conference presentations, but in 2022, things started to return to normal.

In September, I spoke at NORDIC TechKomm in Copenhagen.
In November, I spoke at TC World in Stuttgart (the largest TechComm conference in the world).
This February (2023), I will be speaking at MEGAComm in Jerusalem.
In May, I will be speaking at STC's Summit in Atlanta.

I actually read the instructions before attempting to reset the combo lock on my new suitcase. It didn't work. So there I was, mere hours before departure, with a fully packed (and now no longer accessible) suitcase! I reread the directions and realized that there was a critical missing warning. I kept calm and fixed the problem myself, but it just goes to show. 

So nu? Do you read instructions?
